They Came to a City - Auditions

We are currently looking to cast the role of Joe Dinmore. Joe is a rough, tough character, with a soft nature beneath the veneer. A ship's engineer, Joe is a bit of a pessimist overshadowed by an optimism that somehow tells him that the world could be a better place. Hence his favourite quotation, "I dreamt in a dream ... I saw a city ... invincible to the attacks of the whole of the rest of the world. I dreamt that was the new city of friends. Rather cocky attitude. 25 - 30 years. Major dialogue.
Auditions will be 1pm, Sunday, 4 February.

Lockyer Regional Performing Arts is a community-based theatre company in Laidley. We are proud to bring affordable live entertainment to the Lockyer Valley. We stage a number of events each year, including musical, plays and youth shows.

We are based at the Laidley Cultural Centre, but we are also extending our performances to cover areas such as Ma Ma Creek, Mulgowie, Gatton, and Esk.
